Description

Published in conjunction with the 30th-anniversary exhibition of TOTO Gallery·MA, this book is a collection of works highlighting five emerging architectural practices based in Asia. Although the projects by these architects—hailing from Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Japan, and China—do not serve as representative samples of their respective countries, they present the architectural challenges of their surrounding environments and reflect a strong conviction to generate something novel and essential from what is within their reach. Through the architectural diversity found across Asia, this volume offers insightful hints into the future direction of architecture.
