Description

A hybrid between a WIP notebook, a Hardware catalog, and a dystopian fever dream, A Perfect Garden add a lil’ destruction to the release of our recent Hardware Unlocked Collection.

Author Missouri Williams — whose work has appeared in The Nation, The Baffler, Granta, and the Believer — transforms our new Hardware products into the subjects of a dark fable. In intricate and often hallucinatory prose, A Perfect Garden follows an unknown protagonist in their enclosed garden, trying to protect their world from intruding words, people, and things.

“Inside the garden you have everything you need. You need nothing. And so the garden is empty.”

Risograph printed by friends at Earthbound Press in London and featuring Gramercy, Honeymoon, and Monument Grotesk. 26 pages, gold ink + four colors with foldout poster.
