Description

An exploration of body horror through the use of mixed digital and analog techniques. The artist first extracts the glitched images from Italian television shows, by disturbing the signal and recording the resulting distorted scenes. Then he feeds them into AI together with the prompts to obtain the other images.
The title Ansaas comes from a spelling mistake AI once made for the word ananas (pineapple), and is set using glyphs from EMNIST, a large database of handwritten digits that is commonly used for training image processing systems (ref: arXiv:1702.05373).
