Description

Apotheosis is a modern compendium of deities. Drawing inspiration from the Classic of Mountains and Seas, it reimagines divine figures and mythic narratives through a creative process rooted in the functions and evolution of modern communication devices. The deification and worship of these devices arise from the inner anxieties and desires of humankind. As civilization progresses, the longing for communication and technology has grown as vital as the longing for life itself. Modern individuals devote their time and spirit to their devices, endowing them with divine authority—allowing them to rule over the human psyche and fulfill desires.

Divided into seven chapters, Apotheosis presents a pantheon of communication deities, each accompanied by its own illustration and ancient tale.
