本書為一部視覺總集，收錄並復刻132本藝術家書籍（artist’s books），這些作品源自法國聖伊里耶拉佩爾什（Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche）Centre des livres d’artistes所舉辦的藝術駐地計畫與典藏研究。
本計畫透過整理與再現藝術家書籍，將「書」作為一種物質存在與文化載體，重新檢視藝術界知名創作者對書本形式的關注與實踐。書中可見大量細緻的視覺與排版元素，包括手寫文字、字體設計、郵票、標誌系統（logotype）等，從排版與視覺語言的角度揭示書籍結構中的多重層次與特殊構成。
