Introducing Rubin Sans, a captivating font born from the fusion of art practice, letterforms, and a touch of humour. Developed over several years by the gifted artist Honza Zamojski, this font showcases a refreshing wave of display typography. Honza’s letters were initially designed to be quickly drawn using a ruler and draftsman curve, starting with drawings, murals, sculptures, and art books. As the font took shape, individual letters and pictograms were crafted for various artistic projects, with their bodies and proportions evolving during the digitization process. The result is a visually striking and meticulously refined font that seamlessly integrates creative expression with typographic aesthetics.

In the opening yellow section of 64 pages booklet, you will find chronological quotes and short texts from various Honza artworks. The pictures of those artworks are presented in the subsequent black-and-white part of the publication. As this printed object is a type specimen, all texts are set in Di grotesk and ...Rubin Sans.
