近年來，設計經歷了不斷的學習與反學習、創造與解除、父權化與去父權化、殖民與去殖民、集中與去中心化，等等各種變動。同時，學院與其系所的狀態似乎也呈現出一種遊移、不穩定、未完成、擾動或短暫的姿態，讓位於一切非穩固的可能。


那麼問題便是：若設計的一切都在被解除、被拆解、被反學習，那麼究竟是什麼正在被創造、被實踐、被學習？


Unununimimimdededesign – the hesitant state of design試圖深入這一提問，從設計論述與教育的內部與外部提出多元觀點。這本書的目的並非「修復」這種遲疑的狀態，也不提供解決導向的思維；相反地，它選擇在這些猶豫與不適中，暫停下來，反思並累積那些與之並存的知識、想法、困惑與不安。
